Worship, Blood Drive, Faith and Fellowship
8/11/2022
Good morning, everyone! Thank you for being part of our church’s mission of “…making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” Here is some of what’s going on at Byers Avenue UMC…
This Sunday at our 10:45 a.m. Worship Service, we’ll continue our current message series called “Philippians: Letter of Joy” with a look at part of Chapter 2 of the Apostle Paul’s letter. We are to model our relationships through the example set by Jesus, who placed the needs of others ahead of his own needs. This is challenging stuff, but worth our effort. Find out more in Worship on Sunday!
Our next Red Cross Blood Drive will be on Tuesday, August 23rd from 1:30-5:30 p.m. in our Family Life Center. What a great way to share life with others. Register at https://redcross.org or simply show up on the 23rd.
Our next session of Thursday Night Faith and Fellowship (formerly known as Koinonia) begins on September 8th. We’ll be doing a five-part study on Bob Goff’s “Everybody, Always”. Each night begins with a free catered meal (donations are accepted) followed by a video and discussion. Sign-up by sending me an email at pastorchuckkralik@gmail.com, by calling me at 417-317-4753, or by responding on Facebook.
That’s all for now. Keep loving God and one another! And, as always, stay on mission! Have a blessed day!
