Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World
Byers is a unique church with roots extending back to 1899 and still bearing fruit today. A place where today's families find a connection with God and others. A place of belonging, sharing, and growing in faith. Morning Worship offers opportunities to connect with God through a blend of praise music, modern hymns, prayer and time in the Word.
We know visiting a church for the first time can be a little intimidating, maybe even be a little scary. "What should I wear?" "What do I say?" "Will they make me do something weird?" "Will there be coffee?" and the scariest of them all, "Will they make me stand up and say something?"
Here's the deal: you can completely relax at Byers. We don't pressure. We don't judge. We don't make people do impromptu public speaking. Just be yourself! We want you to be encouraged, inspired, and happy that you've been to church. Oh, and there's always good coffee in the foyer.
And about the dress code, yeah, we don't have one. We really don't care what you wear. You will see some people in jeans, some in shorts, some in khakis, most will be casual and comfortable. Whatever works for you!
Our Sunday Morning Worship Times:
9:30 AM | Small Group Time |

Other Opportunities:
Lunch Bunch is a time to get together and have lunch with friends and enjoy the time together. And there's usually something to learn while you're there! |
Faith and Fellowship is a program on Thursday evenings with a catered meal and a learning program. Lots of fellowship and great food. The program runs several times during the year. Check with the church office for details. |
Want to try playing handbells? Byers has a Handbell choir that practices on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. We play about once a month on Sunday morning. Stop by and listen before you try or just jump right in! |
